Keeping CNP Pumps Dry and Running on Pressure Duty

On a CNP pump, a worn shaft seal lets water leak along the shaft and into the motor bearings, and a small leak soon becomes a costly repair. Most early failures come from dry running, dirty water, or a seal that does not match the original size. Our CNP pump seal is made to the original fitting dimensions, so it goes into the existing pump without any modification. Fitting is simple. Clean the shaft, seat the stationary ring squarely in its housing, slide the rotary unit to the correct working length, and refit the pump head. The carbon rotary face is paired with a hard Silicon Carbide stationary seat. This pairing handles slightly dirty water, runs cooler on start-up, and keeps leakage low over long running hours.
