Cutting Seal Changeover Time on Hygienic Process Lines

On a dairy or beverage line, the real cost of a worn pump seal is the production stoppage, not the part. The LKH seal is front-loaded: the cover comes off, the old seal slides out, and the new one goes in without stripping the pump down. Fitting is simple. Clean the shaft, seat the stationary ring squarely in the backplate, push the rotary unit to its set position, and refit the cover. Our version is made to the original LKH dimensions, so it drops into existing pumps without modification. Its carbon rotary face is paired with a hard Silicon Carbide stationary seat. That pairing resists wear during repeated CIP cycles and keeps sealing steady on hot-water and caustic-wash duty. The result is longer intervals between changeouts and fewer line stoppages.
