PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Extra Containment for Vessels Handling Hazardous Media
Once a vessel's contents move from routine to hazardous, flammable, or environmentally regulated, a single agitator seal's protection margin often isn't enough on its own — which is where the double agitator seal steps in, running two complete seal faces with a barrier or buffer fluid circulating between them so vessel-side leakage never reaches atmosphere directly. Both seal sets share the vessel-mounted housing, and fitting one follows the same top or bottom-entry sequence as a single seal, with the added step of connecting and pressurizing the barrier fluid system before final runout checks. It's the standard specification for pharmaceutical reactors, hazardous chemical processing, and any vessel where fugitive emissions or product loss carries real regulatory or safety consequences.
