Fitting the Cartex-DN equivalent seal follows standard cartridge practice — the fully pre-assembled unit, complete with both rotating seal sets and the shared stationary components, slides onto the shaft as a single package, with setting clips holding everything at the correct working length until the assembly is locked in place. Because the design is double pressure balanced with an integrated pumping device, the barrier fluid circulates on its own between the two seal faces in most installations, cutting down on the auxiliary equipment a plant would otherwise need to run. This makes it a strong fit for petrochemical, chemical, and pharmaceutical processes handling aggressive or environmentally hazardous media, where a single seal's containment margin isn't sufficient.
