PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Built-In Redundancy for Fluids You Can't Afford to Leak
A double cartridge seal takes the same pre-assembled, pre-set logic as a single cartridge and doubles the containment — two complete seal sets sit back to back within the same factory-set unit, with a barrier or buffer fluid circulating between them so the process fluid never has a single point of failure standing between it and the atmosphere. Fitting one is no more complex than a single cartridge; the whole pre-set package slides onto the shaft, the auxiliary fluid system is connected, and the setting clips come off once everything is locked in place. This is the seal plants specify when the pumped media is toxic, flammable, carcinogenic, or otherwise falls under strict emissions or safety regulations where a single seal's protection margin simply isn't acceptable.
